If you will not run
when you feel fear,
FEAR WILL RUN
because it has seen faith.
IT IS A GREAT mistake to think that coming into the kingdom of God involves an easy ride to heaven. For the believers in Philippi it meant real hostility and persecution. Jesus never said you would be greeted with honor and cheers. Jesus called you to bear your own cross, which is a miniature copy of the cross that He bore for you.
Jesus said you are to consider yourself "blessed"when you are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for the kingdom of heaven is yours (Matthew 5:10). That remains true. To live a godly life in a world of darkness will not win you a popularity contest. Never be frightened or intimidated by the world’s hatred. Rather, take it as a joy to suffer for Jesus and let your light shine without fear as a witness to the world. –Dave Meyer
