Prescient vs Michael Jackson
Jackson lawyer L. Londell McMillan said he delivered news of the settlement to the King of Pop, who told him, "I’m very grateful that this is behind me."
He said a man who worked for Jackson when he was on trial in California signed an agreement, even though he did not have authority to do so from Jackson.
Now, the lawyer said, with the litigation behind Jackson, "the world is awaiting his next creative move.""We claim that Prescient’s efforts NEVER MATERIALIZED," said Jackson attorney L. Londell McMillan,
adding that Jackson settled to avoid the financial costs of a trial.
"The MOST IMPORTANT THING is that Michael Jackson’s publishing catalog remains safe and sound," said L. Londell McMillan, whose clients have included Prince and Stevie Wonder.
On to better and brighter days…
now that he can FOCUS on finishing his next album…
that’s the news I’m wanna hear about!
