Firm will now represent licensing rights for lyrics to famous songs.


Sony/ATV
has revealed that busy
Jane Evans Licensing Consultancy will represent
its licensing rights for the lyrics for the songs of a number of famous
artists.

The Sony/ATV catalogue includes the words to successful numbers from artists including Lennon and McCartney, Grease and Bob Dylan among others. Indeed, the catalogue extends to over 700,000 songs.

Janice Brock, Sony/ATV senior VP UK operations, said: "We are very
pleased to be partnering with Jane Evans Licensing and are confident
that, with their network of contacts and European experience, the
Sony/ATV licensing programme will soon expand in both the UK and
overseas."
