Michael Jackson is the biggest selling artist of 2009, with 24,800,000 (CD) albums sold, more than twice the number of any other artist.  This count includes Jackson 5 material, Motown, and Sony albums.  The 2nd best selling artists were The Beatles who sold 11 million albums this yearJackson is the biggest selling musical artist in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, as well as globally, and sold 9,000,000 albums in the US this year.
