Happy Birthday MJ
“Michael Jackson continues to inspire people in every corner of the world as someone who chose to use the extraordinary gifts and talents he was blessed with to deliver messages of hope, love and peace. Michael’s legacy is more than his remarkable artistic accomplishments. It also includes an indescribably unique spirit that still connects Michael today with countless fans in a way that knows no borders, no cultural barriers and which speaks a common language of unity and compassion. Our thoughts and prayers are especially with his children as we fondly remember the Michael Jackson whose friendship, humor and kindness joyously touched so many lives.”
Remembering Michael Jackson: The Global Humanitarian
One of the most generous humanitarians to ever have graced this planet with their physical presence returned to the essence 2 years ago, today. Although much mention is not made of it – while still physically alive, the generous Michael Jackson donated millions of dollars, as well as countless hours, to numerous charities and other organizations which assisted many others in need…

Those “Crazy Michael Jackson Fans:” Maybe we should listen?

Six months ago, when Michael left this world, I was literally too heartbroken and in shock to read, or post anything here for days at a time. Eventually, I gathered myself and went back to read and collect some of the many honest, kind words written about him. Better late than never, I guess. The process served as a healing balm for me. Keeping this blog has played a key role in my spiritual growth, as studying
Michael’s life and art helped me to cultivate my faith. I had no clue how truly meaningful my little collection would become to others. I soon realized that my digital scrapbook, had also become lessons in HIStory within the articles I compiled along the way, of not only the last years of the King of Pop, but of the man behind the Superstar, for whom so little truth had been written for years. I’ve been contacted by many truth-seeking fans old and new, from all over the world, giving their heartfelt thanks for the things they’ve read and learned here. Wow. It’s such a privilege to be a part of something bigger than myself.
I’m so glad that I followed my heart and never gave up on posting the good news. All this time, I thought it was just about the truth, when it’s equally been about and, in the words of Michael, all for love, L:O:V:E.
Though this world won’t ever be the same without him, I thank God that Truth prevails, Love is strong, and Legends never die.
Michael has got ALL of the joy, peace, love, and happiness that the world couldn’t give him now.
He’s in heaven! Imagine his Smile and all of the fun he’s having on his new adventure, beyond time, in a higher dimension…
(The following are modified excerpts from Michael’s book, Dancing the Dream, 1992)
My head says yes, he’s gone. But my heart says NO…
When you feel yourself getting mad or sad, have your moment… and then say to yourself, that’s Enough For Today.
So what does a Star do after it quits shining? Stars never die. They just turn into smiles and melt back into the cosmic music…
He was born to never die
To share his love without a sigh
That was his dance, that was his high
To live in bliss, let him fly
Into the boundless, beyond the sky
For we all were born to never die
Immortality’s his game
From bliss he came
In bliss he is sustained
To bliss he returned
If you don’t know it now
It’s a shame
Are you listening?
There never will be a time
When I You We or he will cease to be
He is in Heaven
Heaven is here
He has reclaimed his bliss
The Creator and the creation have merged into one wholeness of joy, and now there’s only the eternal dance…
So in spite of the fact that I miss him somethin’ awful, I have to make a conscious choice everyday to be happy for him whenever I feel mad or sad for myself. Because I trust and believe that he is finally at rest & has the sweet peace he rarely had in this life. I rejoice for him, and make an effort to practice all of the life lessons he taught me through his art, as he so often pointed towards God. I believe that’s what he would want and I encourage all of y’all to try to do the same.
Heaven, Beyond Imagination!
“Do you wish you would wake up tomorrow morning to discover that the person you loved most passionately loved you even more? Wake up hearing music you have always loved but had never heard with such infinite joy before? Rise to the new day as if you were just discovering the Pacific Ocean? Wake up without feeling guilty about anything at all? See to the very core of yourself, and like everything you see? Wake up breathing God as if He were air? Loving to love Him? And loving everybody else in the bargain?”
“I go to prepare a place for you,” Jesus told His disciples (John 14:2). We all share the desire—really a deep-down yearning—to be in that glorious home forever. It is a place of indescribable bliss.
The greatest pleasures of earth cannot be compared to the joys of heaven.
Mirrors of my thoughts tonight…
From June 25th 2009 –
Lenny Kravitz is mourning the loss of Michael Jackson,
along with millions. He wrote about his personal memories of the King of Pop, and how, even at the age of 10, Jackson was matching legends
like James Brown and Aretha Franklin. Read the full letter below.
will never be another talent like Michael Jackson. Many people are
saying what a performer, what an icon. How many Grammy’s he won. How
‘Thriller’ was the biggest selling album in history. They speak about
the controversy and countless other things. But the truth of the matter
is he was a boy that God blessed with the most angelic voice.
listen to an early Jackson Five album and listen to that voice. The
purity, the feeling, the interpretation of the lyrics. At the age of
ten, he was on par with James Brown and Aretha Franklin.
But the thing he had that they could not match was the fact that he was
a child. But at the same time he sang as an adult. That line between
child and experienced adult took his expression to an unmatched level.
heard somebody on the BBC news tonight say that he was a great singer
but didn’t have feeling like James Brown. That somebody is not
listening carefully. As a child he did it all. Even if he had not done
‘Off the Wall’ or ‘Thriller,’ he would still be a genius in my eyes.
I got to work with Michael on a track that has not been released and it
was the most amazing experience I’ve had in the studio. He was funny.
Very funny and we laughed the whole time. I also saw what a beautiful
father he was. He was a beautiful human being. I am deeply saddened
He was the first live performer I ever saw. I
got to see him at Madison Square Garden when I was eight. If not for
him, I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing. He gave me joy as a child and
showed me the way to go. He was music. Period. His hugeness as a star
was great but before he was the King of Pop, he’d said it all.
May you rest in peace sweet Michael. You gave us all you had to give. Lenny.
…and when the groove is dead and gone, yeah
you know that LOVE survives, so we can rock for-ever on… MJ FOREVER
